About the role:

Insight is currently looking for a pre-sales consultant to join the local team in the Nordics (Sweden). The pre-sales is a consulting ‘subject matter expert’ in one or more defined solution consulting areas and the technical expert throughout the sales process. As a pre-sales at Insight, you will be a part of Insight EMEA’s Service Design & Delivery team, who are in lead on designing client solutions in partnership with Insight sales teams and Insight’s clients before planning and executing end-to-end engagements.

You will be responsible for providing expert consultancy, advice, and guidance to clients. You will participate in transformation projects from initial client assessment through to successful completion, and partner with internal and client teams to carefully scope and propose the most suitable, strategic solution for each client.

In addition, the pre-sales is responsible for the scope, design, deployment, service delivery, and adoption of the latest technologies into client’s operating environments across EMEA and will support Insight sales teams by providing solution Pre-Sales functions.

The pre-sales also works closely with other consulting teammates in a ‘consulting pod.’ Each pod consists of teammates with a variety of skillsets, knowledge, and experience, and is aligned to one of Insight’s strategic ‘go-to-market’ (GTM) areas.

AREA OF EXPERTISE Digital Workplace

For this role we are looking for a pre-sales experienced within Digital Workplace, with focus on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem of functionality and services. This ranges from the software and online services for productivity and security to user adoption and change management.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the delivery of IT related projects to clients, ensure defined service revenue and utilization targets are met, and anticipated client outcomes are successfully delivered.

Responsible for the customization and configuration of client services offerings.

Engage in the pre-sales cycle and provide consultancy services including audits and assessments to support the sales team with their proposals.

Be the technical authority in scoping the technical requirements to the commercial assessments presented by the Sales account team.

Design, build, and configure solutions to address client needs and business drivers, and ensure solutions meet and or exceed the client’s expectations.

Work closely with Sales account teams to present intelligent end-to-end solutions offerings based on the client’s specified requirements.

Participate in, and lead workshops, client meetings, and calls to provide technical expertise in relation to Insight’s proposals, demonstrate credibility and inspire confidence within clients.

Design and configure Insight’s solutions according to the client’s request, map requirements and ensure the most suitable configuration.

Create statements of work (SOW’s) in line with the configuration and or customization needs required for each client.

Accountable for defining SOW’s and customer engagement documentation to Insight’s standards and maintaining clear ‘Plan, Build and Manage’ stages, also ensure SOW’s follow the “Designed for operation” methodology.

Prepare and present client demonstrations and provide training/knowledge transfer and coaching to users.

Collaborate closely with other pre-sales to ensure the ultimate adoption and smooth rollout of solutions to clients, make necessary adjustments and provide technical insight to teammates and clients as and when required.

Ensure the durability and traceability of all work completed including providing regular backups of data and availability of documentation on collaborative tools.

Participate in knowledge sharing activities and help to support and embed a culture of sharing and learning.

Act as ‘technical liaison’ between Insight customers and internal Engineering teams and support Insight’s Plan, Build, and Manage strategy.

Be responsible for the overall technical suitability of the solution throughout Plan, Build and Manage delivery phases.



Requirements

- Educated to degree level or can demonstrate equivalent and a minimum of 2 years work experience.
- High level of written and spoken English
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Holds relevant professional IT qualification, accreditation and or certification
- Experience performing billable consulting work or sales consulting within the target practice area, and or equivalent experience with consulting services management.
- Demonstrates an interest in innovation, information technology, and using Cloud to accelerate business processes.
- Experienced working on and delivering multiple projects concurrently to challenging deadlines with exceptional organizations skills.
- Experience of developing accurate and concise project documentation that will be used by colleagues and clients
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into SOW’s and implementation plans
- Excellent communication/presentation style and influencing skills including negotiating and contracting

- Holds the relevant industry and vendor certifications expected at consultancy level
- Experience of working within a globally diverse environment, showing an understanding of and keen interest in equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Ability to simplify and explain complex issues to a range of audiences and identify and implement effective systems to monitor performance
- Ability to demonstrate resilience and flexibility.
