You will be a member of a high motivated and integrated plant availability & engineering team.The team is responsible for a host of key accountabilities to include - ensuring and develop agreed inspection strategies, maintaining direct and regular contact with asset teams, reviewing and endorsing inspection reports, carrying out periodic plant and equipment history reviews, providing expert guidance to support asset & operation teams responsible for planning and carrying out scheduled equipment inspections coupled with overseeing the completion of remedial work. Role purpose: Technically competent and responsible in all matters concerning legal inspections, materials and manufacture of pressure equipment and other static equipment within the area of responsibility, "Onsite".Develop and ensure effective legal inspection strategies and respond to deficiencies in the internal and external safety requirements for the equipment.Contribution: Ensure that the equipment is subject to legal inspections in accordance with internal and external rules and to ensure that new rules are implemented.Working continuously to raise the probability to find damage during legal inspection requirements and the inspections are implemented in an optimal way.Optimizing applications for legal inspection requirements.Analyze damage and defects within equipment and report results as a basis for changes / improvements to equipment and methods. Skills, Knowledge and Experience: - MSc or BSc with at least 7 years of relevant experience - Interest and experience in health, environment and safety issues - Corporate Financial understanding - Good communication skills in Swedish and English - spoken and written - Very good corrosion and materials knowledge - Visual inspection level 2.In accordance with ASMT or equivalent - Very good knowledge of Swedish and EU law and domestic demands in the area including Legal Inspection Requirements - Good knowledge of Inspection strategies/techniques (RBI/NII) - Good knowledge of welding methods and techniques - Good knowledge of Swedish and international standards and design regulations including FFS and FEM calculations - General knowledge of the processes for petrochemical industries Other information: The role involves many internal contacts and cooperation for investigation and development issues, and frequent external contacts with the manufacturer, Notified Body and suppliers with regards to technical and legal issues.The position requires very good knowledge of production systems and Legal Inspections of static equipment, construction materials and failure mechanisms.You have wide degree of freedom in the work area in order to develop your role in the context of long-term goals.As a result of plant incidents, shutdowns and turnarounds the ability to complete report findings and recommendations quickly but at the same time be accurate.The position has the right to reject / accept static equipment and associated design documents.
