Corporate Communications cover Internal and External Communications and is a head office staff function of 4 employees, responsible for bringing a significant contribution to the performance of Volvo Bus Corporation by: Developing and managinging the strategic internal Communication process and strategy for VBC Ensuring the consistency of the regional and functional strategies Expanding the management communication skills Leading the global coordination and integration of Volvo Bus messages and informations channels Supporting the OD-(Operational Development) and Working Culture implementation. Developing and managing the external communication through Press-media and Public Relations Job description: Your main responsibilities will include Developing and following up internal communication policies, strategy and structure Supporting the regions and global functions in strategic communication issues Developing and producing the internal magazine, Our BUSiness, printed and on-line Expanding managers communication skills Developing and maintaining the internal communication network Management support Communication support to projects Supporting OD implementation and working culture Working in close cooperation to the HR department Qualifications: Experience of strategic communications Experience from communication support on top management level Professional writing skills Ability to understand and deal with cultural differences Creative and proactive with an attitude to inspire and motivate people Target-oriented with a strong drive to improve ways of working Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English University degree, Media and Communication or journalist Starting date: September 2010
