Internal Communications and Intranet Professional

Internal Communications and Intranet Professional

Arbetsbeskrivning

Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.

We’re now looking for a structured and curious Internal Communications and Intranet Professional. Someone with the passion and skills to create clear and engaging messages that really get people’s attention and who wants to raise awareness of our complete range of activities within Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions.

About the job
Great collaboration is key in the field of communication, and you help us build broad networks across the business area to ensure a strong internal communication agenda, increase employee commitment and generate a wide spread of our messages. You support strategically and hands-on in creating efficient structures and activities for internal and organizational communication, and you take part as a communication expert in a variety of change projects.

Once joining us, you create engaging and high quality messages and look at innovative ways of making sure we reach our target audience, while constantly staying tuned with the organization’s needs and demands.
Your main focus is on internal communication and content for our intranet pages. In addition, you provide communication training and tools, and support us in strategic communication and increasing the awareness of our new brand. Planning, drafting, editing and publishing material are essential parts of the job, and you proactively source, create and publish news from across the business area. You also monitor reach and explore, recommend and test new applications and platforms - always taking stakeholder feedback, previous insights, business objectives and internal directives into account.

You report to the Vice President and Head of Marketing & Communications of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. This position is based in the Svedala/Malmö area, although Stockholm or other locations could be discussed.

About you
We’re looking for someone with a relevant academic background and – more importantly – broad experience from working with internal communication, written and visual content creation and organizational communication support. You have experience from diverse, international settings and know how to quickly break down information, capture the essence and spread the word. You love to explore new opportunities and trends within the area, and you’re a comfortable user of the communicators toolbox; such as Office 365, parts of the Adobe Suite and different publishing tools. We’re a global business, and you need to have excellent writing, editing and speaking skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.

Yes, your background is important, but we’re equally interested in your soft skills and personality. You’re a structured and resourceful communication professional with a curious doers mindset – a person who creatively seeks new ideas and has the skills to make them happen. Building professional, trusting relations and handling confidential information with care is in your nature. As a curious and humble listener, you’re also able to put yourself in the shoes of others, and by doing so, you find the best ways to create inspiring, engaging messages and to the point communication.
