Purchasing Sourcing Common Components
Now you have the opportunity to join Global Sourcing Common Components. The department consist of approx. 55 highly dedicated and skilled buyers spread out globally in India, China, Japan, Brasil, US, France and Sweden.
The Sourcing Buyer drives and executes all contractual- and sourcing activities up to supplier selection with the purpose of selecting the most competitive suppliers from a Quality Delivery Cost and Feature perspective in accordance with the Sourcing strategy and the Projects’ requirements.
As the sourcing buyer you will get a own portfolio of parts/segments were your mission will be to maximize the commercial performance on the portfolio on a yearly basis as well as for more long term business. You will belong in a fully global team and be working with parts connecting to all of our truck brands globally.
Responsibilities
•Be host buyer of your suppliers: key point of entry of the company
•Sourcing activities: Send Request for Quotes, analyze suppliers quotations, Negotiate project conditions (payment terms, Incoterms…)
•Follow market- and technology development in its area of expertise
•Agreement management : Negotiate and sign Framework agreement, Price agreement, Warranty charters
•Negotiate yearly productivities with suppliers of your segments
•Cross functional activities to define extra savings on your portfolio to contribute to department KPI
•Work on the sourcing strategies of your segment together with the cross functional team (Engineering, quality, logistics…)

Overall requirements:
