Job description

The Investment Banking Division, IBD, of DNB in Sweden consists of a team of 13 professionals and is now seeking to appoint an Analyst who will work alongside the IBD professionals in Sweden and within the global IBD organization.
You will be an actively contributing member of the transaction teams and will gain deep understanding of capital market products, leveraged finance loans, M&A, ECM and strategic advisory work across the wide range of industries in which DNB operates globally and in Sweden in particular.

<b>Your key responsibilities are:</b>
•Working effectively as part of a global product team by actively participating in origination, structuring and execution of investment banking transactions
•You will be responsible for contributing and delivering pitch material, transaction memos, client exposure reports, research and modelling
•You will proactively track comparable transactions in the market, and maintain databases and intelligence on external and internal deals
•You will be required to be fully abreast of relevant markets developments, macro trends and market events and will proactively assist with updating general marketing information
•Your key responsibility will be to support the deal team execution effort, contributing to the successful execution of the transactions you will be asked to work on


Qualifications

You are a highly motivated, professional, demanding individual with a forward leaning attitude towards learning and developing in your position. The role demands a high energy level, work capacity and ability to multi-task since you handle several cases at a time. You need to be proactive in your work, take initiatives, and have a strong drive to complete the different tasks. You need to be flexible, to have the ability to quickly adapt to changes and in this dynamic environment identify opportunities in new challenges.
You will be deeply involved in client related work and will therefore need a fair understanding of debt and equity products. You have experience and ability in using relevant software such as Microsoft Office and, preferably, Bloomberg. You need to be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
You have a strong academic degree or equivalent in Finance, Business or related subjects. Although not a strict requirement, previous experience, of Corporate or Investment Banking, would be a plus.
