iOS Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to help kick-start Media Distribution – an exciting new product area within Schibsted Media Platform. The Media Platform team operates within Schibsted Media Group’s Technology division which is a brand new technology startup with offices in London, Stockholm, Barcelona and Oslo.

Responsibilities

Development of next-generation Mobile services for Schibsted Publishing and Marketplaces
Design and development of SDKs to deliver product related functionality
Native UI development with Swift/Java
Designing and consuming JSON REST APis
Optimisation and performance analysis


You know how to write readable, idiomatic and maintainable Objective-C and Swift.
You have a deep understanding of Cocoa design patterns and API design.
You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high quality code.
You have released at least one app on the App Store or have a project in the works that you can tell us about.
You are prepared to take on a lot of personal responsibility for the deliverables you work on.
Experience working collaboratively with geographically distributed teams would be preferable
