Our IoT leader Thorsten is now looking to strengthen his team with the critical position of Product Manager for IoT. You will report directly to Thorsten and have a major chance to truly influence our IoT business moving forward. With Thorsten you will have an engaged leader with a strong passion for IoT solutions and you will join a global team. This position is located in Stockholm.

What will you be doing at Nexus

As a Product Manager you hold a true “spider-in-the-web” role. You are the person who translate the business strategy into product vision and strategy. You will gather critical information about the products including customers, market, and use this information to execute everything from product conception to end of life. In this position you will have full accountability of the road map for our IoT Products and own the commercial responsibility of the product.

In this role you will gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and define the product roadmap. Based on this you will team up with Product Marketing Manager and Product Owners and drive the necessary actions throughout the organisation to deliver in time and within budget. As the position is new for Nexus, you will also have a chance to influence what the day to day will look like.

We believe you will be active in researching competitive product status, product/market gaps and evaluate product characteristics to deliver winning products. Internally you represent the customer within the development process, and you provide information, use cases, insights to your colleagues for us to have top of the market IoT products.

The role in bullets

Own the commercial aspects of our IoT products; track sales data, set pricing strategy to manage product profitability index (ROI, define KPIs) and commercial success

Plan and manage product life cycle from product launch to end of life

Work with sales, operations, partners to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

Who are you?

To be successful as a Product Manager you need to be that kind of person who can get people to follow you by your enthusiasm and reason, rather than through a hierarchical chain of command. This means you have good communication skills, and a pragmatic doer approach - and you need to enjoy teamwork!

As you will be responsible for the road map you have a strategic mindset; you can see where you want us to go, and you can lead the teams in that direction. At the same time, you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty to dig in where needed to make sure we succeed. This means you have a good technical knowledge as well as interpersonal skills. You have worked in Product Management before, and ideally held a similar position for few years.

As we work globally you are unhindered in English (written and verbal) and if you also one of our native languages Swedish, German or French, this is a plus.
