About this opportunity
We are looking for an expert Project Manager to join Ericsson's ASIC IP organization, a growing outstanding semiconductor development organization and to help drive excellence in our 5G network products. Ericsson’s ASICs are the backbone of 5G networks. Our IP teams develop, test and deliver various functional RTL blocks for integration into these ASICs.

What you will do
Planning IP deliveries from your teams to AISC projects
Ensuring IP requirements are clearly defined for engineering teams
Driving completion of work package definitions by teams
Facilitating task estimating by teams
Generating IP delivery schedules based on work package estimates, historic delivery data, staff availability, and other external factors
Supervising and reporting weekly metrics that provide clarity of: design work packages, verification work packages, verification/simulation status (e.g. functional coverage, code coverage, test development status, regression statistics), design bug rates, requirements traceability, team efficiency/velocity
Accurate forecasting (and analysis of) trends, metric deviations, inconsistencies, external dependencies, conflicting priorities, and team changes.


You will bring
Master’s degree in engineering (or equivalent).
Pre- and/or post-silicon project management experience in the telecommunication and/or semiconductor industries.
Solid end-to-end understanding of the IC development life cycle.
Excellent social skills to cultivate good working relationships with the global organization and project stakeholders.
Outstanding written and verbal communication.
Effective presentation skills, with the ability to adapt communication for varying stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Natural inclination for both strategic and tactical planning, with the ability to turn strategy into tangible results.
Leadership (“One Team”) approach.


You may also have
Project Management certification (CAPM or PMP).
Experience in design or verification of IP, ASICs or SoCs.
Experience leading, managing, and mentoring engineers within the semiconductor industry.
Experience with JIRA and PowerBI.
Working understanding of scrum project management framework.
