GE Capital Solutions, a part of GE's Commercial Finance division, provides finance solutions such as leasing, lending, distribution finance and related services, as well as car fleet management to help business customers in Europe grow.In Europe, it has around $20 billion in assets and serves customers in 15 countries, with around 3500 employees and has its European headquarters in London, UK.For more information about GE Capital Solutions Europe, access www.gecapitalsolutions.eu We are now recruiting a strong reinforcement for one of our successful IT Teams.Are you an individual with relevant IT qualifications with high motivation, ambition and drive?We offer the chance to work in an ever changing and developing environment, for a leading global organisation.Responsibilities The IT Analyst is responsible for IT application development and project leadership through the full project life-cycle from the initial problem / requirement identification relating to our main legacy system.The position will also act as key point of contact between the business and offshore development.- Manage, co-ordinate and solve application support development cases relating to our in life-systems.- Across Capital Solutions throughout the Nordic countries, applying project management tools and Quality methodologies.This includes generation of detailed system design and test specifications.- Deployment of IT solutions into production environments, ensuring the solution is integrated into the business.- Facilitate communication on complex support issues between business and support team.- Identify and address project risks and issues, escalating actions to the project board where necessary.- Ensure projects are kept on time and within budget.Qualifications - University Degree in IT Management, Computer Science or similar - Advanced project management skills.- Excellent organisation, problem solving, communication, prioritisation and facilitation skills.- Must be a self-starter and able to multi-task.- Strong vendor management skills including the ability to negotiate and communicate directly with senior personnel.- Fluent in English both spoken and written; any other language an advantage.Interested?As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please send your application to us as soon as possible.
