IT Business Controller for our digital transformation - CIO Office

In line with this, we’re building a small and strong team in our group CIO office to enable this transformation and are now looking for a strategic Business Controller with an interest and curiosity for tech and digitalization.

What you’ll do
This role is about forming our future tech investments and enabling our digital shift from the economic point of view – which is done by helping us secure the needed investment initiatives, driving cost optimization programs, and automating and streamlining our operations. You conduct proactive performance analysis, continuously monitor activities, and look at financial trends and possible impacts to the business – clearly communicating risks and leading the way in necessary actions.
Tasks included in your role are to:


Benchmark IT costs vs the industry
Set long term investment plan for IT
Support strategic projects in the initiation phase
Sounding board to Business Area Controllers for Fin Ops, Benchmarks, etc.
Be the chairperson of our IT Bus Control Council
Manage savings programs
Develop models to enable efficient operations and guard our digital transformation
Revisit principles and models for internal invoicing

Where you’ll work
We would prefer to see you seated in Stockholm or Sandviken as it includes some presence at both sites, although other international locations could be considered for the right candidate.
Who you are
To thrive in this role, you need extensive experience from a strategic and transformational business controller position, preferably in a large matrix organization, where you’ve been:


driving projects to transform controlling
setting long term investment plans
preparing and performing presentations for management teams and boards
working with budgeting and steering to enable agility

We expect a curiosity and an interest in technology and digitalization, and it’s a plus if your work experience includes those matters.Your experience is backed by a Finance or Business Administration degree, and as we’re a global company, you need excellent communication skills in English.

You’re characterized by your structured, analytical, and strategic approach, which you combine with lots of curiosity and collaborative ways of working. With your business mindset, you feel motivated by challenging, influencing and guiding decision-making at executive management level.
