The customer aspires to become a smart and innovative municipality that embraces digitalization. One of the areas where the municipality's administrations and businesses collaborate to achieve the vision is the Internet of Things (IoT). The Internet of Things (IoT) project began in January 2021.
The goal is to make it possible to handle real-time data and streamed data, which will help the municipality and other stakeholders develop new and existing services. The municipality is made up of about 50 administrations and businesses that, to varying degrees, develop real-time data management solutions.




Key Responsibilities:
Participating in ongoing work to further develop the municipality's target architecture for IoT and data platform in accordance with the FIWARE framework is part of the assignment.
The consultants will work with FIWARE to describe and document the solution, then describe the task of establishing central IoT capabilities. In addition, the assignment entails working with the city's software and infrastructure service providers to establish the system.
Close collaboration with one or more operational projects in the introduction of IoT applications will also be a part of the assignment. The task also entails providing expert support during the project's dialogue meetings with the city's operations and partners.
Responsible for further developing the IoT and data platform target architecture that has been developed, including ongoing quality assurance of technical solutions within the project and in the various collaborations the project has to ensure coordination of technical development of IoT in the city.
The target architecture for IoT is currently being adapted to FIWARE as a framework, which will be an important part of the consultant's assignment. Other guidelines and instructions for which the project is responsible are also included in the assignment. Before the project is completed, the customer must receive guidelines and instructions.
Scope: The scope of the assignment will change throughout the project, but it is expected to be between 20 and 70 percent of a full-time position on average. The following roles are estimated to have the following scope:
Architect 20-50%
Solution architect 50%
Test leader 30%
Data Analyst 30%
