Steel production accounts for 25% of Europe’s industrial CO2 emissions, which is more than the Nordics’ total CO2 emissions, or more than all flights departing from the EU. Decarbonization is a must for the industry and disruptive technology will be a key enabler. With H2 Green Steel, we’re committed to accelerating change in the industry by eliminating virtually all CO2 emissions from the steel making process.

H2 Green Steel will be a fully integrated, digitalised and automated greenfield steel plant. By bringing together raw materials, renewable energy, leading expertise, and artificial intelligence, we aim to bring emissions down to zero. We are looking for an IT generalist that can both handle employees onsite support requests as well as coordinate our IT Support partner. The support we provide is divided into locally for our offices in Stockholm and Boden, and remotely for another big chunk of our employees.

We have just started our IT journey, so you will get total hands-on exposure to setting up an IT department from the very beginning, exciting, right? No legacy, no ancient ways of working, a white paper and tons of possibilities for innovation.

You will contribute to the team’s growth and efficiency by taking part and supporting projects with global impact. You will very quickly become the IT face for our employees. You will be in a unique spot, interacting with so many talented co-workers.

What you will do:

- Work in a different spectrum of IT projects and problems, all the way from a basic password reset to opening our next headquarter office.
- Troubleshoot, document and escalate on-site and remote issues with Mac and Windows computers, iOS mobile devices, diverse software/apps, meeting room devices, printers, AV equipment and other IT related technologies.
- Administrate and support the whole lifecycle of the most modern and trendy SaaS apps in the market, such as Office 365, Google Workspace, Notion, Zoom, and Slack, amongst others.
- Some travel to other H2GS locations around Europe may be part of your role, eventually!




Your profile & skills:

We are not looking for the most technically skilled IT engineer out there, but it is for us crucial that you understand the IT fundamentals. It is for us also very important that you are capable of finding systematic issues and repetitive tasks and that you understand that another world is possible via automations and setting (sometimes) very simple and effective processes to make H2GS employees life easier. We also believe that you:

- Don’t only love IT, but you would define your passion as Customer support. You get joy from helping people out.
- Have strong experience in IT and end-user tech support.
- Understand IT Security best practices and the importance of making it right.
- Can find the right tools to fix the right problem.
- Are capable of supporting any sort of computer, phone or tablet, you are device agnostic and can figure out the solution to a problem, no matter what the hardware is.
- Are looking for a job to stay, learn, grow and develop.
- Are ok with uncertainty and not so much structure. It will come, but we are right now in the beginning phase, and that is important to understand.
- Are a prestige-less team member. Collaboration is something you enjoy a lot more than working alone.
- Excellent Swedish and English communication skills.
