IT Event Specialist

What we are searching for
As a full-time IT Event Specialist, you will be joining our global team which is responsible for the detailed planning and execution of our productions worldwide. Your organizational, communications, and technical skills help our events to give the best viewer experience possible.


Job description
Your future tasks:
Maintain IT infrastructure at our offices and studios including administration, documentation, and handling of network relevant incidents
Contact and coordinator during event planning phase
Support project managers/stock managers with equipment preparations and shipments
Be part of the global IT event team, planning, executing global productions



Job requirements
Must-haves:
Willingness to travel and work on weekends
Qualified degree in IT, 3 years apprenticeship, or comparable qualification
At least 2 years of work experience in IT, preferably as a network administrator
Ability to work in a team and engagement
Analytic, communicative, and strategic abilities as well as a talent for organization
A high sense of responsibility and acting independently
Interest in the newest technologies and open to working with a broad variety of hardware/products
Good knowledge of the functioning of firewalls, IP routing, and switching as well as an above-average understanding of all OSI layers (especially the TCP / IP stack)
Experience with Juniper/Cisco or other major network vendors
Fluent in spoken and written English


Nice to have:
Fluent in spoken and written Swedish
Experience with standard monitoring tools like for example LibreNMS, cacti, Nagios
Knowledge of Linux (FreeBSD / Debian)
