We are looking for a person who is eager to take a managing role for infrastructure and service in a new organization set up of for the Nordic Region. Your responsibility is overseeing and managing the Regional IT infrastructure and service delivery operations. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, both in Sweden and Norway, as well as outsourced service providers in Sweden, Finland and Norway. You will ensure availability, reliability, and performance of the IT systems, and implementing best practices for IT service management.

Your responsibilities include:
* Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Bilfinger's Regional IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and datacentres.
* Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of IT infrastructure components.
* Manage IT service operations, including incident management, problem resolution, and service request fulfilment.
* Develop and implement IT service management processes and procedures.
* Monitor and analyse service performance metrics, making continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with industry and group regulations and standards related to IT infrastructure and service operations.
* Oversee relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
* Manage Information Security requirements and processes in coordination with the group information security team.
* Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including infrastructure engineers, support technicians, and service desk personnel, collaborate with Regional and Group IT.

To be successful in the role you have a completed Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. You have proven experience in IT infrastructure management and service operations as well as In-depth knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library). You have experience with cloud technologies and virtualization in addition to ITIL and Microsoft Azure Certification.
As a person and manager, you have excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills to work with regional stakeholders and Bilfinger IT. You have project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously alongside with your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address region-specific IT challenges. You also have experience in managing IT budgets and resources effectively, preferable in a global organisation.

The position is located in Kungälv, Sweden. You have a close collaboration with the manager for applications & business solutions and you report directly to the Regional Director of IT & Digitalisation.
