ROLE:- IT OPERATIONS HEAD

Taking care of IT Operations and Data center Operations for Gothenburg Sweden and Nordics.

Job Description:-


GIT Operations, Data center Services, Cloud Operations Sweden.
Design and Implementation, Hardening and Migration of Servers, Network, Infoblox and Firewall requirements as per project.
New Projects Onboarding, coordinate and test their requirements and meeting MSA requirements.
Union Negations for new Jobs and if any new change implemented. Negotiate for Health and safety requirements for team.
Resource Management for Nordics and EMEA region to meet the customer expectations.
Team Management and liaising with Global Service Desk, Network and Domain teams for P1 and P2 incidents and other IT support requirements.
Part of Ring 1 Test team for new OS, Patch and Software's in HCLTECH.
Data Center Support for new implementations for Network, Servers and New projects.
C Band users and VVIP Support for Nordics region.
Preventive Maintenance plans to check and test all required devices.
DR Planning for Network and Servers to minimize the impact for any disaster situations.
BCP Planning for projects to avoid any disruption in business. Co-ordinate with all parties during major problems and outages and ensure resolutions are found to stop reoccurrence.
Lead GIT Team problem reviews and solutions.
Managing the customer's expectations in relation to the service and new implementations.
Managing Compliance and VA for Servers and Network devices.
Operations and technical support of day-to-day onsite laptop/desktop service operations, either via face to face, telephone or via remote connection tools.
Create SOP's for end-users and team members on Incidents raised. Efficiently resolve user incidents/requests, maintaining personal Remedy call queue at all times, ensuring tickets are processed in accordance with HCL procedures in order to meet set SLA's.
Manage the complete life-cycle of laptop/desktop environment from procurement, on-going support to decommissioning.
Hands on Knowledge of SCCM / SOE Imaging.

Maintaining the IT store room, carrying out frequent stock checks and organization of IT equipment.
Provide telephony and video conference support within the office environment as well as daily changing of backup tapes and logging results.
Create and update documentation on processes/systems relevant to the EMEA OSS team.
Provide support to GIT and other technical teams for IT projects and out-of-hours work.
Provide any other duties/tasks related to GEO IT Services which includes occasional visits to other EMEA offices.
