Jobs Description:
Looking for a dynamic self-driven "IT service/support manager" within the sphere of IT services.
The IT Service Manager will be located in Gothenburg and responsible for managing the support team in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. This includes the implementation and administration of IT and telephony solutions and supporting the business needs. The service manager is also responsible for team management, communication with local departments, Corp and Group, as well as with external partners and suppliers.




Main functions
Managerial common core
Organizing the scope for support team by following governance rules and delegation, and definition of roles and responsibilities.
Providing necessary resources (human, financial, technical) by reporting to IT manager for further assessment.

Information System Management
Steer and monitor all operational production in first- and second-line support.
Ensure the service quality, performance, and business adequacy of the Information System by the implementation of SLAs according to business needs.
Manage hardware assets and ensure permanent compliance of associated software licenses.



IT Governance
Apply all IT governance rules and monitor their application indicators and controls with the assistance of the security and internal governance team.
Define and deploy action plans that allow complying with IT Governance rules and ensuring the sustainability of implemented actions.
Ensure that the entity takes into account the priorities of the Customer.
Guarantee assignment of necessary resources to deliver a high level of the IT support function.
Conducting and actively monitoring KPIs from service and performance of service desk.





Day-to-Day Routines
Effectively managing, developing, and monitoring of service desk team.
Regularly review process’ used in service desk and improve accordingly.
Coordinating all relevant stakeholders including the support desk team regarding first- and second-line support.
Maintain a well-operating ticketing queue for incidents, requests, changes, and problems according to ITIL implementation.
Assist support team in categorizing and prioritizing IT-related tickets and issues received in Help desk, and escalate to IT manager when necessary.
Communication with head office relating to ongoing projects, system security from a user perspective, and implementation of new technologies.
Communication with established suppliers of IT-related services and potential ones, including external partners when needed.
Attend, plan and organize meetings, training, and workshops (internal, external, and with head office).

Competence Requirements
IT governance, budgeting, and planning.
IT development lifecycle, especially with third-party software implementation in an international configuration.
Experience in client-server architecture and Object Oriented development tools.
Network administration and IT Security experiences.
Experience in the procurement process
Experience in a B2B environment, and customer-oriented IT work.
Excellent communication skills.
Change and incident management.
