What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a passionate IT Site Manager that can lead the IT site team supporting Body- & propulsion components within Global Manufacturing Digital (GMD). 
This role is based in Olofström and will be covering people working with GMD based in Olofström; both employees and consultants.
You will join Global Manufacturing at Volvo Cars Digital and be part of the Global manufacturing sites management team. This area manages the IT deliveries towards the manufacturing sites. For this role you will be collaborating mostly with Business stakeholders at the site, Product Managers, the Digital team members based at the respective locations. You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision and scale our users globally. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our delivery. Of course, we have fun together while doing it. 

The purpose of the role
The IT site Manager (ISM) as a servant leader has the complete personnel responsibility of the involved team, covering present and future needs together with the responsibility for the delivery of IT services at Volvo cars Body components (VCBC) and Volvo cars propulsion components (VCPC). The ISM coaches the team to continuously learn and collaborate. The Digital team at the site secures factory support, plant infrastructure services and application services. The main focus of the IT site team is to secure operational availability of the critical digital deliveries during production hours including flawless & timely change management for the digital deliveries at the sites.

Your main responsibilities
Is the face of Digital at the site and by that, responsible for all digital deliveries at a site focusing on best-value-for-money. You will drive continuous performance improvement and support global alignment within the global Digital manufacturing sites community; also joins strategy meetings withing GMD, understand strategy work and what it means for his site (owning the digital roadmap for his site).
Coach your Digital team, handling competency development to at all time focus on safeguarding availability of critical deliveries at the site, encouraging them to drive their own competence development by learning and share knowledge.  You’re willing to support the team in their daily work by being present and attentive to their needs 
Coach real-time data transparency e.g. visualization of KPIs, Quality metrics, Test coverage etc and also, you will be willing to support suppliers becoming a part of the digital team at the site. 

Who are you?
BSc, or equivalent experience in a relevant field (significant on the job training can be seen as equivalent)
Experience with:  Agile ways of working, leading a team of people and manufacturing Digital
You have experience teaching and coaching skills and have the capacity to create an environment that foster high performance teams. 
Personal
You are passionate to foster End-to-end ownership- and right-from-me mindset and, about improving constantly and forever.  
You enjoy being a collaborator and networker help to solve impediments for the team, acting as a servant leader and lead by example. 
You have growth mindset and are fluent in English and Swedish.
