IT Team Manager

The IT Manager (ITM) is responsible for day-to-day operations and long-term strategic management of the people of the department and with that, the quality and consistency in the output and long term vision of workflows.
This position comes with responsibilities for leading the team. This includes general staff responsibility, including but not limited to: regular meetings with team members regarding their work situation and current projects, performance review and professional development, collaboration and knowledge sharing with other department managers and shared support functions within the company.

Some of Your key responsibilities
Undertake career planning, promotions and coaching of individuals within the team
Undertake headcount planning and hiring (closely liaising with our talent acquisition team)
Team planning and delivery
Set objectives and evaluate performance
Participate in technical decisions
Cascading communication
Plan for and together with the team execute on team building activities
Enhance our team environment and happiness​ within the team
Keep up to date with team productivity and metrics​
Align with other department managers​
Development process
Team visibility and recognition (shared)​
Cost accounting and budgetary control (shared)



We believe that you must have at least 3 years of experience to fulfill the responsibilities stated above.


Requirements
Business Administration degree or similar
Knowledge of Agile Workflows
Work experience within an IT department
Cost Accounting Experience
English and/or Swedish language to a native level



Desired skills
Experience with Jira Service Management
First Line Support
Kanban Workflows
ITIL framework knowledge
