As an important part of ABB Mining Process Industries you will deliver complete electrification, automation and digital solutions, industry specific products and lifecycle services to clients in Mining, Aluminum, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Metals F&B, Data Center Automation and Battery Manufacturing. At ABB you have all possibilities to become the new generation of industry specialist.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and Project Managers you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.


Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for various control system design and implement engineering automation projects in Mining Process Industries in Sweden. Providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Sweden and worldwide.
Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.



Your background
2-3 years of experience in OT or IT field, working as Engineer with experience of control system design and implementation.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including VmWare, Azure, Windows Server 2012 or later, network design, domain and GPO design.
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
A bachelor’s degree in IT/OT area or equivalent.
Required languages, Swedish and English.
