Java System Developer/Product Owner

The highly skilled team of scientists at Nanolyze are developing instrumentation for the analysis of nanoscopic objects in real time with single particle resolution. The product is currently being tested by pilot costumers and is showing a great potential, which attracts major financing. The company is now looking to recruit a Java system developer, who will be responsible for developing the product software to make it customized and user-friendly. You will have a product owning responsibility, working closely with costumers to incorporate new functionalities that will bring the software to the next level.

Dina arbetsuppgifter i huvudsak
As a software developer and product owner at Nanolyze, you will be in close connection with our pilot customers to transform their feedback to desirable functionality. You will continue the development of the prototype software created in collaboration with a team of consultants according to the company visons and ideas. The purpose of this prototype software is to use it for gathering user feedback to guide the team in the continued development and you will obviously have an essential impact on the design of the final product. The software is communicating with various hardware such as microscopes, stages, cameras, sensors etc. signal and image processing algorithms are important components. Since we process image data in real time, there is need for efficient implementation. The user interaction is important and UX design will be a part of your role as well.

We are building something great together and we are (for the moment) a small team, so we need to dare to make mistakes and have a tolerance for others. You will interact frequently with customers, so you need to be service minded with a capacity to read between the lines.

We are looking for both junior and more senior candidates for this role. Life Science experience is meritorious but not mandatory. With a curious mind, you will easily be able to understand the underlying fundamental techniques!

Nanolyze is developing a state-of-the-art technique for high-precision and sensitive analysis of biomolecules in real-time. The unique approach is based on label-free single-particle monitoring, using waveguide microscopy in combination with a novel experimental setup.
