A pre-study has been completed and the project is now developing a solution design.Based on a chosen purchased product (and gap analysis), the project will focus on not only adjusting and adding functions, but also integrating this product into the existing landscape (e.g.with the customers' web solution and retail systems).According to preliminary plans, a Pilot shall start in May 2009 and global roll out should start during the autumn same year.Main tasks: The main task is to be responsible for analysis, design and implementation of the interfaces & integration mechanisms used by the project.The project need to integrate to backend systems for product information, 3D-model data, prices, orders and login.All decisions and solutions needs to follow IKEA:s standards, guidelines and processes.They will also implement some change requests in surrounding systems.Required skills: The developer should have the following competencies: Mandatory: . Social skills since there is a lot of interaction to other stake holders involved.. Experience from detailed software design and development/test process in a modern technical environment of large scale systems.. Experience from Web services based integration methods . Experience from projects and solutions that are based on a mix of third party products and custom made software development..Experience with Java .Experience with UML . Experience with XML .
