Jeeves Application Management - Project Manager

Liner Agency uses Jeeves for finance, controlling and operative support. Jeeves should be seen as a complement to Shipment On-Line (SOL), a web based system provided by Evergreen to manage container shipping. There is an advanced interface between the two systems where Jeeves has been heavily adopted to support business demands over the years.

Group IT is a small stream lined organisation responsible for provision of IT-services to the business areas within Greencarrier. Services cover IT-infrastructure as well as business application and integration services.

Business strategy is based on further optimisation of operations and process harmonisation. This also reflects upon the application strategy with target to reduce the number of adaptations in Jeeves over time. Plan is to review and optimise current processes with objective to improve efficiency and usage of Jeeves and SOL. There are also plans for technical upgrade with possible move of the technical platform to cloud.

Jeeves application management is provided through Group IT covering daily maintenance and 2nd level support including coordination of incidents with 3rd party suppliers. Services also include translation of business needs into IT demand for implementation of change requests and projects. Decision about priorities is done by business stakeholders as part of IT-governance where Group IT prepare meeting material and coordinate services provided by 3rd party suppliers.

In order to meet the demand for IT-support we are now increasing capacity with a Project Manager. The role requires close cooperation and interaction with colleagues in an international environment as well as other IT-functions and external IT-partners. The focus of the role will be management of upcoming project activities and to reduce personal dependencies as to Jeeves application support.

We are looking for an experienced and service oriented IT-professional with high motivation and drive. You should have a proven track record from successful management of IT-projects in an international context. Previous experience from ERP application management in general and Jeeves in particular is an advantage. Furthermore ability and interest to understand underlying business demand for translation into IT-requirements.

Your work tasks


Management of IT-projects and change requests in close cooperation with business colleagues and Jeeves consultants
Take active role for 2nd level application support. Prioritise and coordinate resolution of incoming incidents and requests
Maintain a structured documentation including project plans and system documentation
Dialogue/feedback with end-users


Your profil


Structured but pragmatic project approach with focus to deliver results
Broad technical understanding from Microsoft environment and IT systems administration
Service oriented attitude with high motivation and drive
Team player with ability to build positive relationships in an international environment
Fluent in English both written and oral


Merit is also experience from; transportation/shipping industry, knowledge of Jeeves, ERP and transportation management systems, understanding of a global organization and culture.

The position is full time and part of the Jeeves Application Support with location in Gothenburg, reporting to Group IT Manager.
