Jeppesen in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking a savvy technical professional who is an expert with tools that support the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and is excited about working directly with our internal customers.The successful candidate is an expert at the SDCL tools JIRA, other Atlassain tools, and Perforce.Experience with the Rational Tool Suite and/or HP Quality Center tool suite is also a major bonus.The person in this role must have the capasity to challenge existing thinking, and implement the tenets of change management in regards to tools at Jeppesen, going forward.He or she should be detail oriented and like to work in an environment that relies on precision.He or she should be used to operate independently with minimal guidance from the management.High customer support ratings are also of highest importance.Our ideal candidate will be skilled in: Tier II and tier III eastern hemisphere support for Perforce, Jira, and the Atlassain Suite and potentially other tools that the EPO supports Creating tool integrations between the existing tool sets to allow for improved tool performance Implementing and maintaining software engineering tools, performing tool migrations, and implementing improvements to existing systems Working on tool improvement projects as required Identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex business problems and proposing solutions Supporting and following iterative software development methodologies, standards and procedures and acting as a change agent in regards to tool adoptions Clients include world-leading companies like KLM, SAS, British Airways, Singapore Airlines, Delta Airlines, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Deutsche Bahn, DSB, and Green Cargo.Jeppesen has pioneered several new methods and algorithms for solving large, complex optimization problems, and we participate in joint research at some of the world's leading universities.
