Jr. Project Consultant to work in a procurement implementation project

We are looking for an analytical person to work in a procurement implementation project located in central Stockholm. You will be working with negotiation and contracting activity across various categories for a manufacturing client. OM TJÄNSTEN
Academic Work is on behalf of our client looking for a Jr. Project Consultant. Our client company is an international consulting firm. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a wide-scale procurement transformation programme.

This is a consultant assignment. You will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant at our client. The assignment will be full time and extend to 9 months. There are good opportunities to be extended on the assignment, given that all parties are satisfied with the cooperation.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
In this position, you will participate in a multi-national procurement implementation project. You will work in a client company that is located in central Stockholm. As a Junior Consultant, you will work at the client site and independently drive initiatives, analyse responses and run meetings. You will work within procurement across multiple categories, and engage with suppliers as well as with procurement and technical stakeholders. You will report to a Senior consultant, who will provide you with the necessary support as well as training and coaching. Weekly meetings and team calls are in place to connect with the international team.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Relevant education or finishing studies. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a technical or economical field. You can be finishing your studies s long as you can work full-time.


* Previous experience from working in a procurement role. ?Thanks to your previous work experience in procurement, you have understanding and some experience of strategic sourcing, tender process, negotiations and contracting.
* Good analytical skills, strong Microsoft Office Excel skills
* Fluent in English and Swedish
* Willingness to travel occasionally


As a person, you are analytical and problem solving. You have excellent Excel skills and you have a good hand with numbers and analyzes. You can solve the challenges you face by yourself buy don´t hesitate to contact your team if you need support. Furthermore, we see that you are a communicator who can easily connect and develop good work relationships with the company.
