We are currently seeking an Application Support Professional for a 12-month long contractor assignment starting in October.

Our recruitment partner is in search of an Application Support Specialist to join their client's Support & Service Monitoring (S&SM) team in Sweden.


The primary focus of this organization is overseeing application support for connected solutions provided to their global customer base, addressing incidents and fulfilling service requests.


The team adheres to well-established ITIL processes to ensure efficient issue management and high-quality service delivery.


The role of the Application Support Specialist involves providing 2nd line support in accordance with agreed-upon service levels. This requires a solid grasp of user roles, the applications in use, and the services offered.


The position also involves communication with various departments and suppliers, both within Sweden and across different geographical locations.


The Application Support Specialist reports to the line manager of Support & Service Monitoring, who is based in Gothenburg.


Our client engages in partnerships with suppliers and employs the latest services and solutions to assist customers in enhancing profitability and fostering growth.


Key responsibilities include:
* Providing support to customers by managing incidents and fulfilling requests
* Analyzing and resolving incidents
* Identifying potential solutions for defects
* Ensuring knowledge management by documenting and sharing information
* Managing incident status communication with customers and stakeholders
* Contributing suggestions for improving service deliveries
* Participating in maintenance and deployment activities




Professional profile: candidates should possess a master's degree in computer science and/or have experience in the following areas:
* SQL and Oracle
* Java
* Log analysis
* Excel
* Fluent english
* Meritious: experience from connected vehicle solutions
* Meritious: experience in application support
