Description Scope: Budget controller for sales deductions (customer discounts)

• Monitoring automatic processes for Internal Order creation and bookings in SAP and local Trade Fund Management (TFM) system

• Managing monthly, quarterly and yearly stewardship processes for SLS function including access reviews, budget number proofing, manual journal postings

• Error resolution on technical issues related to accounting or systems

• General support for SLS Finance team

 

General Profile: • Works independently within established processes and procedures

• Ability to plan and manage own work to anticipate peak periods due to e.g. month, quarter and year end close

 

Mastery: • Understanding of SAP accounting and reporting

• Good understanding of system interfaces and information flow

 

Problem solving: • Proactively acts to understand numbers and root cause deltas vs forecast

• Propose solutions for medium complexity operational problems

• Proactively suggests process improvement related to own work processes

Leadership: • Manages own time

• Collaborates with sales finance team as well as account managers from sales function

Collaboration: • Connects with internal counterparts

Communication skills: • Needs to be able to communicate fluently in English (both oral and written)

• Needs to be able to communicate technical details in layman’s terms

Level of supervision: • Weekly
