The position is to be based in Electrolux Headquarters in Stockholm. Stakeholders and team members are spread across Europe wherefore travel sometimes occurs.
We are on an exciting transformational journey of our IT landscape and our ways of working. You will be in the middle of the Operations Analytics and Data Management Team, dealing with information for our European operations (manufacturing, supply chain, logistics). The team is composed of business analysts/project managers, data engineers and data analysts and is crucial in delivering key company initiatives in the area of supply chain, transportation, warehousing & manufacturing.
We have a complex European IT landscape, both on and off SAP, from which our analytics solutions on SAP BW/ Azure/Power BI are integrated. The role as Junior Data Engineer is an exciting position with great autonomy and possibility to discover a vast area in terms of Electrolux processes and systems.

​Your tasks:
· Design and develop data pipelines within Azure Data Factory
· Code data processing solutions within Azure Databricks
· Conceptualize and implement relational database solutions within Azure Synapse, Azure SQL and Azure Data Lake
· Development/code management using Azure DevOps
· Work close with business analysts and data analysts to understand the requirements for the end product and suggest optimal data models backend/frontend for optimal performance with the help of senior data engineers.
· Collaborate with platform teams and data engineers in core systems for analytics use cases.
​Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, we believe you have a university degree in computer science or equivalent. This is an entry level position, but we hope you have some first experience from ETL processing, Data modelling, data management and databases preferably within Azure Data Lake. You demonstrate high self-leadership and are motivated by challenge and collaboration. You are excited to start out your data engineering career using the Azure platform and ready to learn and grow to become a wizard of Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Python, SQL coding and Scala. You are used to an international environment where English is the common language.
Experience from Power-BI and DAX code is a strong plus but most importantly, you are willing to learn and develop as much as possible within this exciting area, we will support you with training and guidance!
