Junior Design Engineer within Aftertreament

PN are now looking for a design engineer to join our clients awesome team within aftertreatment systems.

About the group
The position is within a design group that is developing the next generation of exhaust aftertreatment systems, not only for our clients own trucks and buses but also for and with their worldwide colleagues within the Traton Group. They are now starting up new projects to meet the demand of future global legislations. 

The group is today 10 helpful individuals who works as a team. They are proactive, fun and always have a smile on their faces. 

The group are developing aftertreatment systems for different customers. This means that they are working with early design concepts and prototypes as well as with mature designs and prototypes that need to be verified and then industrialized. It is a cross functional work environment as they are working closely together with purchasing, production, after market and of course suppliers.

Your role
As a design engineer in our team, you are not only developing a part of the truck, you are developing a complex system that needs to fulfil various product properties, such as performance requirements, acoustics and durability. You will be part of the whole development process – from early technical concepts to mature prototypes and finally its industrialization.

You will work close to simulation and test engineers and together perform development iterations.

Your profile
You have a B.Sc./M.Sc. in mechanical design, material technology, structural mechanics or equivalent
You know English in both speech and in writing
You are creative, analytic and enjoy working towards common goals
You have or are interested in working with simulation driven design

Information about the position
Professionals Nord is looking for a Junior Design Engineer. You will work as a consultant through our staffing business. The assignment stretches for 12 months, if everything goes well you will later be hired by our client. We need you now so don´t hesitate to send in your application.
