Junior Linux Onsite Support Technician to our client in Lund

In this role you will work as a Junior Linux Onsite Support Engineer at our client’s site in Lund. Randstad Technologies is specialized in competences within IT. Responsibilities
You will provide investigations, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for hardware and software related Linux problems. You will also support Microsoft Office 2003/7/10 products (Outlook, Word, Excel), Access, Web browsers, Windows XP/7/8, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers, NIC’s, basic LAN/WAN connectivity and others as assigned. When unable to resolve, you will escalate to second or third level in accordance with the escalation processes. You will work together with the Digital workplace team for problem resolutions and maintain overall ownership of the user's issue & service, ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe. Furthermore you will provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes.

Qualifications
You have at least 1-2 years of experience of experience within Linux support/troubleshooting. You have a good understanding about user account management, backup & restore and hardware setup. Furthermore you have some experience in SIEMs and monitoring systems. Good Windows skills, such as AD, Proxy, DNS, Antivirus are preferred.  We believe that you have strong problem solving abilities and can perform under stressful and stringent timelines. You have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team and your communication skills are excellent in both verbal and written communication, and your English is fluent.
