Junior Scientific Expert
Dfind Science & Engineering are looking for a junior scientific expert for a temporary assignment. This assignment will take place at our Client, European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), in their office in Solna. The assignment will start in July and continue until the end of the year, with the possibility for an extension up to a total length of 12 months. As a Junior scientific expert your main responsibilities will include to:

• Support the Training Programmes in the analysis of training needs.
• Design and development of curricula and training materials.
• Evaluation of training activities for public health professionals.
• Contribute to both face-to-face and e-learning activities, using the ECDC Virtual Academy as a platform tailored for adult learning and contribute to network activities.

Qualifications and skills:
We are looking for candidates with a:

• Strong scientific or social scientific background
• Experience in training, ideally within public health area.
• In depth knowledge of competences of trainers.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
It is also considered as advantage that the candidate has the following skills and competences: knowledge and experience in adult learning methodology

• Experience in curricular design
• Ability to create high quality training materials
• Including e-learning and face to face formats


The ideal candidate is an ambitious person, with a high level of responsibility and the ability to take own initiative. You have a good sense of accuracy and have great attention to detail. We expect you to be a strong team player with excellent organizational and communication skills.

For this position we require excellent oral and written English.
