On behalf of our client we are now looking for a dedicated Junior Scientific Expert. The client operates on a European level and is based in Stockholm

Main areas of responsibilities

- Contribute to the response activities (e.g. rapid risk assessment, finding information, contributing to reports etc.) in the area of epidemic intelligence

- Contribute to the daily surveillance of travel-associated cases of Legionnaires’ disease

- Contribute to the outputs (reports, papers, risk assessments) delivered by the section

Qualifications:

Education

- University degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology or related discipline.



Competence and Experience requirements

- Education at university level

- Public Health background would be advantageous

- Excellent communication skills needed (written and spoken)

- Speaking and writing English fluently.



Personal characteristics

- High level of responsibility and ability to take initiative

- Very good ability to work in team.

- Good sense of accuracy and attention to details
