Hitachi Rail STS is looking for a passionate junior technical project manager, who is driven to exceed expectations in an international environment. Hitachi Rail STS is now looking for a junior technical project manager to strengthen the project engineering organization within the railway business. It is a key position and the company is in an exciting period with many interesting projects ahead.

In the position as junior technical project manager you will lead wayside railway signaling projects - both conventional and ERTMS, and will be the technical interface towards our clients.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Communicating and implementing operational plans for completing engineering-based projects.
Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan and taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project.
Communicating project progress with the client.


qualifications.

To be successful in this position we believe that you have a university degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science or IT, or have an equivalent technical background. A few years working experience is an advantage, as well as experience from the railway industry. Working proficiency in both Swedish and English is a requirement.

As a person you are proactive, determined, have the ability to handle a dynamic project environment and are skilled in communication and building good relationships. You are service minded, result oriented, easy to work with and enjoy a multicultural environment. You value structure and have the ability to effectively and independently execute your work and drive your projects forward.
