key account manager to teenage engineering

teenage engineering develop highly acclaimed products for people who love sound, music and design. we are now looking for a key account manager to join our team in stockholm.

role and responsibilities

as key account manager you will be responsible for the company’s sales within markets and accounts, as determined by our sales director. the misson is to achieve the targets, goals, ambitions and budget set by the company and to promote the businesses interests and reputation according to its stated values and strategy.

responsibilities also include search and development of a network of retailers and distributors in those markets and maintain operations (orders, invoicing, shipping, content, pricing) of existing B2B accounts. you will also take part in planning new launches and leading workshops, takeovers and events where the brand is to be represented.

you will be a part of our sales team and report to our sales director. you will also work cross-functionally with our marketing team, development and production team. travels will occur.

to succeed in this role we believe that your personal skills have a huge impact. you need to be outgoing and independent but still responsive to your surroundings, proactive and comfortable with change and taking risks. it’s also important that you can handle stress, since it can be fast pace from time to time.

required skills

- more than five years of work experience within sales and prior experience as key account manager
- experience and knowledge from our industry
- fluency in english

teenage engineering was founded in 2007. our first product was the OP-1, a portable all-in-one synthesizer used by world famous artists, sound designers and dj's.

other products range from the OD-11, a high-end wireless stereo loudspeaker, the ultra portable and ultra low cost pocket operators, the new op-z, multimedia synthesizer and sequencer workhorse.

our hq is located in stockholm, sweden. here a multidisciplinary team of software / electrical / mechanical engineers and industrial / textile /lifestyle designers are developing our products from start to finish. the studio is fully equipped workshop with state of the art rapid prototyping machines.
