Kockums stands for leading-edge, world-class naval technology - above and below the surface.We design, build and maintain submarines and naval surface vessels that incorporate the most advanced stealth technology.Other successful products include Mine Countermeasure Systems, Working boats and Fast Ferries in our world leading composite technology.We are based in Karlskrona, Malmö and Muskö in Sweden.Kockums is part of ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems.Proposal & Sales Section - Business Unit Surface Ship Kockums stands for the start of some new opportunities within the business unit Surface ship with the establishment of our new products Carbo CAT and Composite Superstructure Concept (CSC) on the market.In order to meet market needs, therefore, hires a Sales Manager.Main accountabilities *Identify customers in the civil market within the CarboCAT and CSC segments in cooperation with the marketing companies.Focus on the product and the customers comprising for example by shipping companies, shipyards, Design & Engineering etc.*Build and maintain relations with new and existing customers *Provide support and information for the preparation of proposals and assist in negotiations with customers *Participate in trade shows, conferences and seminars Qualifications Requirements *Minimum of Bachelor of Science in engineering with a personality that creates and builds long term relations with customers.*Experience in complex sales from relevant technical areas *Extensive experience in marketing and sales in international relations *Good experience in building long term relationships *Very good spoken and written Swedish and English language skills Meritorious *Knowledge in the German language *Knowledge and experience in marine products Personal Qualifications Profile *Strong egodrive *Sales focused, social, confident, and independent and have a great technological interest *Result oriented *Communicative with good presentation skills *Very good ability to encourage innovation *Ability to defend good ideas and is change oriented *Flexible Since the clientele is international the position involves extensive travel, primarily within Europe but also elsewhere in the world.An estimate is 80 travel days per year and about 75% in Europe.
