Adecco is a Fortune Global 500 company and the global leader in Human Resources services.Registered in Switzerland, and managed by a multinational team with expertise in markets spanning the globe, the Adecco Group delivers an unparalleled range of flexible staffing and career resources to clients and associates.Adecco was created in 1996, following the merger of Adia (Switzerland) and Ecco (France), two leading personnel service firms with complementary geographical profiles.Adecco Medical & Science in Gothenburg are now looking for a Screening scientist/Assay biologist for a longer assignment.Research scientist in the screening team We are looking for a reasearch scientist that can join the screening team in the Bioscience department.The screening team is responsible for assuring high quality primary and secondary assays and iterative compound screening for projects.Area of competence: The position requires strong theoretical and practical experience in biochemistry, cell biology and/or pharmacology, good computing and data management skills, as well as hands-on screening experience using advanced laboratory automation equipment.Key attributes .Demonstrated skills in receptor pharmacology, enzyme kinetics and/or cell biology, both theoretical and practical.Experience with cell-culture is advantageous..Experience in compound activity screening of one or more of our major target classes (GPCRs, enzymes and ion channels) using microplate formats and semi- and fully automated systems..Experience in analyzing data from compond activity measurement, preferentially using data entry tools including Hbase and IBIS..Good communication skills, both within the group and with the projects .Positive and goal oriented attitude and independent way of working .Team player that actively contribute to the common tasks of the group The successful candidate will have at least an academic degree in biochemistry, cell biology or pharmacology.Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to carry out independent research are required.Strong interest and motivation to learn new technologies and concepts is expected.You are welcome to send your application.We are continuously interviewing candidates since we are aiming at filling the position as soon as possible.Apply here!
