The D&E unit develops and produces packaging systems and distribution solutions for liquid food.The unit is part of the Tetra Pak Group which has a global coverage and key product development centres in Modena, Italy and Lund, Sweden.On behalf of Tetra Pak, Randstad is searching for a ****** Laboratory Engineer ****** Material Analysis globally support project activities and claims with packaging material and off-flavour analysis and is the global owner of test methods for both laboratory and converting factory use.Material Evaluation characterizes laminated packaging material as well as base material like polymers and boards by mechanical, physical, thermal, optical, barrier, sensory or chemical analysis.Material Evaluation also produces polymer films and polymer blends in laboratory scale as a step in the characterisation of the polymers.Your main tasks and responsibilities in this role will be: * In discussion with customer suggest how to perform the requested analysis * Perform the analysis with emphasis on optical, physical and thermal analysis * Evaluate, report and discuss with customer the results * The analysis can be related to development, claim or troubleshooting activities.The successful candidate has a University degree in chemical or physical engineering or equivalent with emphasis on materials.Work experience within the material characterization area is considered as additional qualifications.You have a good command of English and Swedish, both written and verbal.As a person you are able to work both independently and as a part of a team.You are structured, analytical and thorough in your work and you have a service minded approach.
