Laboratory engineer

TATAA is a fast-growing company with two decades of history and is recently backed by a life sciences investment firm. The company is comprised of a team of scientists providing laboratory services, products and education / training services across a broad range of nucleic acid analysis technologies including PCR, NGS and proteomics. The company serves a variety of pharma, biotech and academic customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to get involved early on in setting up TATAA for its next phase of growth.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
We are looking for a quality-oriented scientist for production and product development

Placement and responsibility
• Position is within TATAAs R&D unit.
• Be responsible for production and quality control of TATAAs product line
• Participate in TATAAs research and product development
• Participate in TATAAs courses

Work tasks
• Plan, execute and report production of TATAAs product line
• Perform quality control of production
• Develop and update routines for production
• Develop and update routines for quality control of production
• Support TATAAs R&D team developing methods and products
• Instruct in laboratory work in TATAAs courses
• Support sales team with product information


KVALIFIKATIONER
• You have biotech, biology, technology or medical degree from University
• You have extensive experience of laboratory work and enjoy working in laboratory
• You are knowledgeable in nucleic acid analyses
• You have good analytical competence
• You are quality oriented
• You have good writing and oral communication skills in English
• You are result oriented and used to work independently
• You are a team player and can see how your responsibility fits into the companys overall business activities.
• You have interest in standardization, guidelines and quality control
