Laboratory Engineer

Poolia Väst Presentation We are now looking for a lab based scientist for an assignment at The Bioscience department at AstraZeneca in Mölndal. An approximate start is 1st of october 2009 to 30 june 2010. We are continuously interviewing candidates since we are aiming at filling the position as soon as possible. Arbetsuppgifter The work will be focused on preparation of primary pre/adipocytes from rodent and human adipose tissue. Coordination of availability and use of human adipose tissue with collaborators. Culture and differentiation of cell lines and isolated cells.Main responsibility for standard cell based assays in the group. Validation and standardization of new cell-based assays. Applicants should have good experience in cell culture, preferably both cell lines and primary cells, and cell based assays. Utbildning/erfarenhet A background in biomedical analyses, biology, biochemistry or pharmacology would be preferred.
