Laboratory technician within molecular biology in Södertälje
We are currently looking for a candidate for a 6-month consultant assignment in Södertälje as laboratory technician. The client is a biotechnology company with strong focus in R&D. For this assignment you will join an R&D team and their projects which employ cutting edge cellular and molecular biology technologies with state of the art equipment.

As laboratory technician you will be responsible for the collection of specimen and processing and distribution of cellular-, genetic-, and biomolecular constructs. Common methods used are bacterial cloning, PCR, gel electrophoresis, growth media preparation and aseptic technique.

The successful candidate for this assignment should ideally have a background in biomedicine together with a few years of experience of either laboratory or production work. Skills in molecular biology are highly desirable, as well as clinical diagnostics laboratory experience. The candidate must have excellent Swedish and English communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, and must also have a driving license.
