Oriflame Cosmetics Catalogue department is now looking for Lay Out Artists and Art Directors for their head office in central Stockholm Oriflame is a cosmetics company that sells high-quality natural skincare and cosmetic products through an independent sales force, outside the traditional retail environment.Oriflame Cosmetics is today one of the world's fastest-growing cosmetics companies.Oriflame is present in 59 countries and is one of the market leaders in over 30 countries.A sales force of 2.3 million independent Sales Consultants market a complete range of high quality skincare, fragrances and cosmetics.LAY OUT ARTISTS PURPOSE OF JOB Develop catalogue creative that successfully answers the creative brief KEY RESPONSIBILITIES .Ability to take a brief from concept through to execution working closely with Art Director and Copywriter colleagues .Translating marketing communication strategies into visual communication solutions TASKS . Work effectively with material housed in the image data bank .Reviews production proofs.Acquires production approval from Art Director / Category Creative Manager .Digest and implement relevant feedback . Participate in creative brainstorming sessions . Attend relevant reviews and planning sessions .Work closely with Production staff QUALIFICATIONS . Visual conceptual skills and a knowledge of current advertising, catalogue design and marketing trends . Applies advanced computer technology to deliver final art work of a specified standard . Understanding creative process COMPETENCIES / CHARACTERISTICS . Organized and structured . Creative . Detailed and thorough .Good knowledge in English . Team player YOUR QUALIFICATIONS You are a detailed and thorough person with the ability to work in a structured and well-organized manner.As Layout Artist you will need visual conceptual skills and knowledge of current advertising, catalogue design and marketing trends.Excellent computer skills in QuarkXpress or other relevant program are a prerequisite as your work includes applying advanced computer technology in order to deliver final artwork of a pre-specified standard.A successful Layout Artist needs to have an excellent understanding of creative processes.As Oriflame operates in a highly international environment, good knowledge of English is a prerequisite.You should have an educational background in graphics, layout editing and/or print.
