We are now looking for a Lead Engineer for Chassis, Propulsion & Thermal (CPT) in Tianjin!

 

Description

Chassis, Propulsion & Thermal system is considered one of the highest priority area within the Engineering Product Development organization, highly focusing on new Technology for next gen Electric Vehicle. Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation is also part of the organization.

As Lead Engineer for Tianjin you will plan and lead a Chinese team in Tianjin towards successful deliveries in accordance with the processes at NEVS. You will part of a strong team of Engineers responsible for Steering & Suspension System, Propulsion & Braking System, Thermal & HVAC, Power Generation & PTI System. This is a key role in the integration work between the organizations in Tianjin and Trollhättan. The assignment in Tianjin will start during the autumn of 2017 and end, at the end of 2018. After the assignment in Tianjin you will continue as Lead Engineer in Trollhättan.

 

The role as Lead Engineer Chassis, Propulsion & Thermal (CPT) involves:

- Leading the development of CPT on System & Component Level in Tianjin.
- Be the technical Interface between THN and Tianjin organization.
- Establishing and maintaining internal and external networks with CPT expertise.
- Leading analysis of designs such as FMEA, DFMEA etc.
- Providing input to best practice design solutions.
- Participate in mentoring and training activities.
- Anchoring the assignment's decisions, development and status with the responsible line management.

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent,
- Extensive experience Developing Chassis, Propulsion and Thermal systems and release high volume series production.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written. Knowledge in Chinese language and working culture is a merit.
- Driver license B
