The Energy Transition team is focusing on new business opportunities within new power generation, energy conversion & management and smart infrastructure.
Are you the one we are looking for? Are you an entrepreneurial individual who have a passion for, and some experience in, areas related to energy transition topics such as offshore wind, Hydrogen, CCUS, PtX, DER, EMS and a good understanding of the energy value chain – clients, suppliers, prospective partners, technologies, digitalization, key market players, regional trends in Sweden and various national policies?
In this role you will collaborate with key stakeholders, and act as Project Principal on relevant projects focusing on electrical design solutions covering energy transition topics.
Your responsibilities
You will be the responsible engineer for the electrical design solutions at early-stage customer engagements, ranging from conceptual design to leading feasibility and FEED-studies for the Swedish market.
In this important role, you will be a key-player in positioning ABB and deliver value early-on in our efforts to enable the energy transition.
Take technical lead in system design of our products, systems and solutions.
Work as a team with other members of the Global and North European hub including centers of excellence, R&D as well as various business lines.
Making technical recommendations in the design and engineering, to ensure all actions are completed according to process requirements and standards.
Technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.

Your background
A Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience working as electrical design engineer and/or the energy industry.
Preferably, experience from offshore wind, hydrogen or other related topics.
A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
An entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to undertake new and exciting activities and challenges.
