Your position as Lead Product Manager

In the position as Lead Product Manager, you will be in a visible and leading position in a company where product is key. A product (the marketplace for Charter-sales of Private jets) that has a direct, and great, impact on business. You are expected to lead the vision work and draw the road map for the development of the product while being the closest manager for 4 product managers that also work on the same product. You are expected to have a coaching style of leadership with an emphasis on developing your team of PM:s where it is also important to make sure that all teams work according to the same methods and among other things arrange workshops for sharing knowledge, learning and development.

The position can be described as a ”Player Coach position” where you both work strategically with building a product organization but also are able to step in and work more hands-on close to a product team of UX designers and developers. You are expected to be able to lead change- and work for improvement in how the organization and its coworkers constantly can develop as well in how Avinode conducts its Product Management work. It is also included in the position to define and follow up key figures to allow the organization to continue to make data driven decisions.

The position will also entail international trips and meetings with clients and participation in conventions which gives the role a social dimension.

About you

For a good fit in the position, we see that you are communicative and like building bridges and establishing contact with key clients. You likely have a leadership style which methodology is built on coaching and support where you wish to see your coworkers grow together with the organization. As a person you are likely innovative, forward-looking and prone to change where you fit better in a changing environment than an administrative organization. An important aspect is also a prestige less approach due to the organization being flat and you are expected to both act strategically as well as hands-on.

Important for the position

To be relevant for the position you likely have many years’ experience working as a Product Manager; preferably in a leading position with responsibilities in developing and changing the ways of working. You should have an interest for the strategic while you can also act more hands on and work closely with UX and Tech.

Qualifications

Multiple years’ experience of Product Management- preferably from SW-companies
Experience of work with and/or a good experience of SaaS and B2B.
Experience from a supervising position, exemplary if for other PM:s
Fluent English in speech and writing

Salary: Monthly by agreement + Bonus arrangements.
