Lead Project Manager

Nasdaq is now looking for a Lead Project Manager to join our team in Stockholm. You will be part of Global Trading & Market Services (GTMS) that supports the entire lifecycle of a trade. GTMS provides compelling marketplaces solutions that bring buyers and sellers together in an open and transparent environment across all asset classes. The Lead Project Manager will support the project management functions across GTMS globally.

Nasdaq is continuously revolutionizing markets and undergoing transformations while we adopt new technologies to develop innovative solutions, constantly aiming to rewrite tomorrow. To stay competitive for the future, we are initiating a transformation of the Nordic trading, clearing and surrounding systems, which will include a migration to the Nasdaq Financial Framework suite of applications, adoption of public cloud infrastructure and separation of trading and clearing systems.

In this role, one of your key assignments will be to lead the high-profile project to transform the Nordic trading and surrounding systems. This project is an extraordinary opportunity to bring your strong track record, drive and results oriented mentality to Nasdaq. You will be involved in challenging and impactful work, with high-level ownership and client oriented execution and delivery.

Responsibilities:

* Manage projects in the GTMS portfolio such as trading system integrations or migrations, trading system enhancements and new product development
* Define, advocate and maintain strong working relationships between internal product managers and technologists with a results orientated focus.
* Effectively resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project lifecycle, ideally, before they happen.
* Interpret internal/external business challenges GTMS is facing and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.

The Best-Suited Candidate:

* Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Economics/Business Administration
* Proven Project Management experience from complex IT projects
* Formal Project Management certification
* Formal Business Analyst certification or experience is a merit
* Lean Six Sigma training or experience is a merit
* Experience working within Capital markets is a merit

To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable in a leadership position and energized by working in a mission critical environment. You have excellent problem solving are highly structured and thorough in your work, with a willingness to frequently step outside your comfort zone. This role will require you to navigate a complex matrixed environment and work closely with development teams, while managing other key stakeholder relationships.
