Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions, driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system.

Rapid technology development in e.g. electrification and autonomous driving is changing the ways we interact with our customers and giving us new ways to innovate.

Scania has established a transformation support team with the aim of accelerating Lean-Agile transformation across Scania solution development, inspired by the SAFe framework. We are now looking for experienced individuals to act as Lean-Agile coaches to support and guide the organization through this cultural journey. If you have great communication and leadership skills and want to lead the way in a Lean-Agile transformation journey, this is an opportunity for you!

Your task

As a Lean-Agile Coach, you provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to teams and leadership in new and existing value flows. You are an excellent facilitator and lead by example to promote a culture of exploration. You collaborate with other coaches and transformation leaders and play an important role in establishing Lean-Agile practices and principles across our organization. A growth mindset and belief in people are crucial to your success.


• Coach and mentor teams and leaders during the start-up of new value creation teams (VCTs, similar to Agile Release Train in SAFe)
• Support and facilitate workshops and Lean-Agile events on all levels
• Give training. If you are a SAFe-certified teacher we see that as positive
• Share experience and constructive feedback to your support team colleagues and co-create Scania solution development Lean-Agile framework
• Promote self-organization and team spirit to shorten feedback loops.
• Building a safe environment with an emphasis on transparency and collaboration.
• Participating in Communities of Practice; using creativity and a sense of humor to make building great products fun

Your profile

Being a Lean-Agile Coach in this transformation is a multifaceted role, and we want you to be a source of inspiration for the Lean-Agile mindset. With passion and encouragement, you will make Lean-Agile principles an integral part of the Scania culture. You possess great people skills, a large dose of curiosity, and a positive can-do attitude to motivate your surroundings. Acting in an environment of change and implementing new ideas and solutions, even in complex situations, really gets you going. You inspire and coach others to develop and continuously improve a transparent, trusting environment.  

Skills & experience: 


• Have experience from working in an agile or Lean-Agile environment eg as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach, or similar and are knowledgeable in related methodologies and frameworks
• Have experience from and are knowledgeable of solution development processes
• Have experience in leading or coaching in change
• Dare to challenge old habits.
• Are passionate about transforming Scania solution development to be fit for future
