Sandvik Construction is a business area within the Sandvik Group providing solutions for virtually any construction industry application, encompassing such diverse businesses as surface rock quarrying, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering. The range of products includes rock tools, drilling rigs, breakers, bulk-materials handling and crushing and screening machinery.

We are now looking for a Lean Manager, to ensure the full implementation of the Sandvik Lean Principals and Sandvik Construction Lean program. The position is, preferably, to be located in Svedala, but location may also be at another Sandvik Construction site in Sweden.

Key performance areas
As Lean Manager, your primary responsibility is for the implementation, support and management of practices for optimizing process flows based on Lean principals. You lead cross-functional Lean projects to achieve standardization, stabilization and simplification of the production process. Your main responsibilities include to:
- Lead development and implementation of lean operations, in line with Sandvik Lean Principals and the Sandvik Construction Lean operations program
- Plan, develop, initiate, and monitor lean projects across multiple functions to improve productivity and communication of results and accomplishments
- Set and report on quantifiable goals and objectives
- Estimate future projects from the perspective of financial, throughput, lead-time and on-time performance improvements, in order to assist in the prioritization of projects
- Create and conduct training programs and educate the organization on Lean methodology

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering. You have experience from Lean implementations and Lean tools in a global environment, as well as Lean principals and Six Sigma. You have a broad mechanical industry background, such as in Production and Product Engineering, Purchasing & Logistics, Quality, Supplier Development, Sourcing and S&OP. In addition, you have experience from project management and financial calculation methods. Excellent communication skills in English, in both writing and speaking, are essential. Skills in Swedish and Finnish are advantageous.
