Right now, at Sandvik Group, we’re looking for an experienced Learning and Development Specialist who would enjoy collaborating on joint Sandvik learning initiatives and projects to support and share expertise to establish required and desired strategic competence-building within our global organization.
We’re a small, central group function in a large, decentralized company where collaborating across borders, building fundamentally strong relationships and having cultural awareness are keys to success. We collaborate globally with our Business Areas as well as other group functions to ensure development, alignment, and results within the Learning & Development area.


Your mission
As an experienced professional in this field, you have a proven track record of developing and implementing learning initiatives. In this role, you plan, develop, and deliver e-learnings, facilitate leadership programs as well as support different organizational functions in their learning challenges. You keep up with the latest training methods and industry trends as well as learning technologies to identify new approaches to learning and development. You also work in close relationships with selected vendors and are the first point of contact.
Here, you get to use your knowledge and experience from project management including managing a certain budget and collaborating with the Procurement function on vendor agreements for Group L&D, track spending and report on the training/vendor programs results. You share best practice, reports, analytics, and statistics for learning programs as well as support learning planning and set-up in Sandvik Learning Management System in Workday.
The location for this position is flexible within Europe. We offer you a hybrid working location where you could have the opportunity to work from home a couple of days a week. Some international travel is also required.


Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in education, HR, or equivalent knowledge gained from working. You have a proven track record of developing and implementing learning initiatives – from planning, developing, and delivering e-learnings, to leadership programs as well as supporting different organizational functions in their learning challenges on a global basis. You enjoy keeping up with the latest training methods and industry trends as well as learning technologies to identify new approaches to learning and development. This role calls for proficient English skills, in both written and verbal form.
You’re an experienced communicator and know how to market campaigns through LinkedIn and internal intranet and stakeholder groups. You know how to create, maintain, and develop intranet pages and use Teams as a learning platform for both material and delivering virtual content. Strong communication and pedagogic skills and an eye for design and layout is beneficial as you will be involved in creating learning materials, presentations, conducting workshops and webinars, and providing one-on-one advice to different Business Areas and functions.
