The School of Business and Economics, one of Linnaeus University's five faculties, offers several business administration and economics programmes at both bachelor's and master's level, a large number of single-subject courses, as well as PhD education. We offer programmes within a number of different fields like leadership, entrepreneurship and tourism studies. The school has its activities in both Kalmar and Växjö, and web-based.

The School of business and economics is in an expansive phase recruiting multiple staff for building and developing several research areas, education and collaborations with the surrounding society. 

The position in question lies within the frame of the field "Entrepreneurship and social change" at the School of Business and Economics". Entrepreneurship is a prioritized field at Linnaeus University with a large number of courses and programmes on both second- and first-cycle level. The research environment consists of professor, guest professor, associate professor, a group of Ph.Ds and Ph.D candidates. The concept entrepreneurship should here have a broad interpretation, including innovative activities within the frame of all different types of organizations and sectors in society, with particular focus on social, economic, and ecological sustainability. The everyday practice of entrepreneurship and collaboration with the surrounding society are also part of the field of knowledge in question.

Field of subject for the appointment: Business administration with specialisation in entrepreneurship

Placement city: The position is at the School of Business and Economics, the Department of Organisation and Entrepreneurship in Kalmar or Växjö.

Scope of appointment: 70%, for 6 months. Access by agreement.

Job tasks
The appointment comprises planning, teaching single-subject courses and take part in research projects.

Active participation in the research environment is a condition, as is the initiation and pursuit of research of relevance to the subject field. Collaboration 

with the surrounding community nationally and internationally is expected, as well as active participation in the department's internal and external affairs. It is important to have the ability to collaborate and be flexible in the relation to students and colleagues as well as in research environments and external relations. Great importance will be attached to the applicant's interest in participating in the daily work at the department. 

Requirements
Qualified for completed master's degree in business administration, focusing on entrepreneurship, communicate well both orally and in writing in both Swedish and English as well as documented very good collaborative skills  

Assessment criteria
As assessment criteria for appointment as a lecturer, the level of skills considered a requirement to be qualified for the appointment is to be in force. The trial of the pedagogical skills is to be given as great importance as the trial of the scientific skills. Other assessment criteria are:


• Demonstrated scientific skills of relevance for entrepreneurship, according to definition above.
• Experience of collaboration with the surrounding community, practical professional experience within a field relevant for the position and/or experience of practical leadership development work.
• Good language skills in Swedish and English
