ABB Power Grids Sweden AB is searching for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal in Västerås, Sweden. In this role you will be part of a Legal team of 9 lawyers and provide support to the Legal team and the business organization.
Your responsibilities
Support of in-house lawyers, e.g. maintenance of dispute reporting, sending of documents, collection of signatures
Independent handling of certain enquiries to the Legal team from the business units (e.g. requests for information, documents etc.)
Independent handling of internal administrative processes, e.g. regarding corporate matters, reporting, trainings, POA, archiving, GDLI 45 process, etc.
Carrying out independent organizational tasks, e.g. ordering processes, accounting, budgeting, information on Inside and SharePoint
Identifying and proposing ways of improving the operations of the legal team and implementing such decided improvements in a sustainable way
Being knowledgeable about the electronic tools and applications of the legal team and being responsible to drive implementation of new tools
Collaborating and interacting with people responsible for legal operations in other countries and sharing experiences and best practices with them.
Monitoring compliance with internal processes

Your background
You have more than 3 years of relevant professional experience in supporting the operations of a legal department or similar.
You are service-minded and have the ability to work in teams as well as independently
Fluent command in Swedish and English is needed.
The ability to work with work tasks of varied complexity.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office applications.
